The Organic Fermented Turmeric Salsa was inspired by the book "101 Theory Drive" where the discovery of the formation of the memory molecule BDNF is described as derived from turmeric, DHA (Algal DHA for vegans), and exercise.

Seven years of experimenting with turmeric recipes has born out a greater bioavailable turmeric recipe that is for me a daily staple and quite simply has an amazing taste. the fermented salsa is also a probiotic. The turmeric salsa has given to me a clarity mind and healthy body I had only only previously dreamt about.
Oddly, being out of work as a remote Android & iOS programmer the past eight months has given me time to refine the process of fermenting and experiment with new sprouting techniques.
I have a passion for reading, the sciences, math, sustainable living and tiny houses, vegan foods, and earned a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering at the University of New Mexico. Mornings find me harvesting and eating home grown fermented sprouts with turmeric salsa while watching TED talks.
My latest work is on creating Android and iOS apps, a work that greatly demands an expansive and fast memory. I feel that eating fermented turmeric salsa gives to me increased ability to retain memory, learn faster, learn comprehensively, assimilate information faster, and express assimilated information quickly. These are precisely the abilities required to program well by assimilating tens of thousands of lines of code daily and making apps work. Aside from exercise, the only saving grace to increase memory in the Standard American Diet (SAD) is turmeric in mustard and DHA in fish. Mustard it turns out is a neat tasting addition to the turmeric salsa.

The past four years I've recreated turmeric recipes out of sheer desperation to pack as much turmeric into a palpable concoction with foods that increase the bioavailability of the turmeric. Here at BrainyLunch we "eat our own dog food", that's an industry term to say we eat our own sauce on a daily basis. My 30-day Sprout and Turmeric Diet experiment has given to me a clarity mind and healthy body I can only dream about.
